Ombre brows vs microblading: which is right for you?

Ombre brows and microblading are both forms of brow permanent makeup, but they create very different looks and behave differently on different skin types.

    Microblading: hair strokes

Microblading imitates individual hairs with fine strokes. On some skin it can look crisp at first, but it is not recommended for combination or oily skin, because the strokes may blur over time.

    Ombre brows: soft shading

Ombre brows, also called powder brows, are created with a machine that builds colour from tiny pixels. The front of the brow stays light and the colour deepens towards the tail, giving a soft, makeup-like gradient.

Because there are no strokes to blur, ombre brows suit all skin types and soften gracefully as they fade.

Why Studio 11 specialises in ombre brows

Studio 11 does not offer microblading. Focusing on one brow technique means every appointment is about perfecting the shading, mapping and colour for your face. You can choose a soft, medium or defined intensity at your consultation.

    Already have brow hair?

Ombre brows work beautifully with natural hair. The shading fills sparse areas and enhances your existing shape rather than replacing it.
