Laser PMU removal before new brows: when you need it
By Aleksandra Zając · · 4 min read
Many clients come to Studio 11 with old permanent makeup from elsewhere: brows that have faded unevenly, changed colour or simply no longer suit them. Often the best first step is not new pigment, but laser lightening.
How laser removal works
Targeted laser energy breaks pigment into tiny fragments. The body's lymphatic system then clears those fragments away naturally over time.
Lighten, correct or remove
Lightening reduces pigment so a new treatment can be applied over it. Colour correction lifts unwanted blue, grey or red tones. Full removal targets deeper pigment for clients who want it gone completely.
How many sessions?
Most clients need 2–6 sessions, depending on how deep and saturated the pigment is. The skin heals over 4–6 weeks after each session. Each session is £65.
Is it uncomfortable?
Discomfort is minimal and quick, and numbing can be used if needed. Every plan starts with an assessment of your existing PMU.
