Brow lamination vs powder henna: which one do you need?
By Aleksandra Zając · · 3 min read
Not ready for permanent makeup? Brow lamination and powder henna are both gentle, temporary treatments — but they solve different problems.
Brow lamination: shape and lift
Lamination softens your natural brow hairs so they can be brushed into a new direction and set. The result is fuller, fluffier, more uniform brows that stay in place without daily brushing. It typically lasts 4–8 weeks and costs £45.
Powder henna: colour and definition
Powder henna uses plant-based cosmetic henna to tint both the hairs and the skin underneath, creating a soft, filled-in look. It lasts up to 6 weeks on the hairs and 2–10 days on the skin, depending on skin type. It costs £35.
Which should you choose?
If your brows have plenty of hair but grow in every direction, lamination is usually the answer. If your brows are light or patchy and you want more definition, powder henna adds colour. Your consultation helps decide what suits your brows best.
